Synopsis
Justice is his only goal. Death is part of his duty. Only love is capable of scaring them. Raúl Ávila decides to become a police officer after witnessing the death of his father, a respected sergeant, and decides to catch his murderer. Raúl graduates with honors as a second lieutenant and is assigned to be in charge of one of the most difficult areas of Bogotá.
On his first day on the job, he faces the real dangers of his profession: Gongo, his father's murderer, escapes from prison while trying to save the life of Petty Officer Diana Ochoa, his partner, who has been kidnapped to distract his police. while the prisoner runs free. Raúl, in a risky and rookie move, hits Diana's kidnapper with an accurate shot, but this action puts the officer at obvious risk and she reproaches him for her lack of judgement. She, lower in rank but much more experienced, resents that she has exposed one of her biggest secrets: her severe panic attacks. These episodes of fear are what remains of the trauma she suffered six years ago when she faced the guerrillas and witnessed the death of many of her companions and the kidnapping of many others, including Vicente Yáñez, her boyfriend. . After fighting for hours, Diana was the only survivor of her and a few days later she discovered that she was pregnant.
Time has passed and Diana is now a single mother patrolling the streets, while at her home, her mother and her little daughter think her job is safe and she is working behind a desk at the station. of cop. The obvious conflicts between Raúl and Diana begin to be resolved when she finds the support and affection she has been missing since Vicente was kidnapped and decides to put her feelings on hold. On his part, with the help of Diana, the rookie Raúl tries to capture Gongo again and with each hard step of the learning process he begins to become a professional. In constant work that brings them even closer, Raúl and Diana manage to determine that the most dangerous criminal actions in the city originate from the sophisticated criminal structure led by Gongo.
