Synopsis
A unique and emotional perspective in narrating the life of Darío Gómez, through the eyes of the most important women who were part of his life. Through their eyes, we discover not only the unforgettable artist, but the man whose heart faced countless battles, loves and sufferings.
Through the eyes of Abigail Zapata, his mother, we get to know Darío as the sensitive and curious child who inherited her love for music. Abigail's relationship with her son is Darío's first great emotional support, until the tragedy that changes his life forever.
Ligia Pérez, his first wife, shows us another angle of Darío. In his youthful dreams, she becomes the pillar of his creativity and the pinnacle of love, facing together the skepticism towards his musical talent until the relationship deteriorates, leading her to be one of the first sources of Darío's pain and songs of spite.
Olga Lucia Arcila is the woman who drives his career to unimaginable levels. Manager and wife, Olga is the strength behind the man who fights every day to turn his personal tragedy into professional success. Her tireless faith and vision make Dario a musical legend, but she also faces the challenges that Dario's rapid rise and personal demons bring.
From the eyes of Vanessa, who becomes his late and converted love, we see a Dario in search of balance and personal redemption. Their relationship defies convention and gives Darío a spark of youth and daring.

His goal is to record an album. Heartbreak inspires his music, turning him into the King of Despecho. Death accompanies him, but his consecration comes with “Nadie es eterno en el mundo”.

Courted by Nicanor Estrada, she does not find the passion she is looking for in him until she meets Darío Gómez. Against her mother's wishes, she gives up her professional dreams and dedicates herself to supporting Darío. Blindly trusting in his talent, she manages his career and turns Discos Dago into a profitable company. She gives him three children and accompanies him in all the stages of his life, being him the love of her life.
Julio Gómez
Julio Gómez
Son of Fidel and nephew of Marco Aurelio, he was temporarily left with the Gómez Zapata family at the age of four, but never returned home. Raised as Darío's brother, they became best friends. Julio, charming and a good salesman, believes he has musical talent, but feels that Dario overshadows it. Eventually, he desires what Dario achieves, including women and success.

Blanca Ligia and Darío meet in Medellín and quickly marry. Although they have three children, Blanca never supports Dario's artistic aspirations, constantly criticizing him. Her disdain is a deep pain for Dario, who tries to please her while pursuing his musical dream. Blanca is unfaithful to him and, after their separation, continues to manipulate him.

Fidel Gómez
He is a sullen and macho peasant with a sour temper. He blames Dario for the death of his brother and is envious of the land inherited by Marcus Aurelius. He transmits his resentment to his son Julio, urging him not to let himself be subjugated by Dario. Although he maintains some loyalty to the family, taking care of Abigail and her children, his armor is cracked by Otilia's feigned affection.

A native of San Jeronimo, he is a successful guitarist and requintista in Medellin. He met Darío at the age of 16 and they became friends and musical partners. Always smiling and good-natured, Cuerdita is reserved about his private life. He hides his alcoholism, which keeps him away from his daughter and grandson. Although he thinks he has everything under control, his addiction eventually takes its toll.

Otilia
Born in Ebéjico, she learned black, white and red magic from her mother Eloísa to survive. She lives on the sidewalk with her husband Pascual, a street vendor. Abigail, her friend, invites her to family celebrations, not considering her reputation as a sorceress a threat. Despite Abigail's advice to avoid witchcraft, Otilia and Marco Aurelio become lovers almost under her nose.

She is a simple and religious woman, with natural wisdom acquired through observation and experience. Dedicated to housework and raising her many children, she finds solace in music. Dario inherits her good ear and they record an album together. Her greatest wish is to see her children happy and fulfilled, Dario being her weakness, to whom she owes her life.
