A 48-year-old man, intelligent, cunning, calculating, cold and quite a Don Juan. Capable of loving or hating intensely, he knows no middle ground. Humble, born into a low-income family; At the age of 16 his father is orphaned, so his mother must raise him and his 9 siblings. Trying to get his family out of it, he becomes involved in crime. He starts doing minor robberies and over time he becomes involved in drug trafficking businesses. His great intelligence allowed him to hide his true identity by keeping a low profile for many years, deceiving even his family, who did not get to know the great wealth accumulated by El Capo. In the second season, El Capo will begin his most daring adventure: entering the United States, circumventing the most implacable security in the world. As if this were not enough, Pedro Pablo will plunge into the bloody gang world and end up declaring war on the most powerful Mexican drug trafficker. Determined to do anything, El Capo will do the unthinkable and join forces with his fiercest pursuer, finally getting closer to his redemption.

Investigator for the Directorate of National Security, an upright and principled man. He will try by all means to catch El Capo, at first on the side of the government, but later losing his family in this fight, he will have to pursue him even defying the orders of his bosses.

It's Burro's sister. She is a beautiful, sweet, delicate woman with a big heart, who will sow her gaze and her kindness in the soul of Pedro Pablo to the point that he will openly fall in love with her. She works as a nurse in an old people's home called San Rafael and will be involved in the Capo's plans, when he uses her, along with the elderly people under his care, as the perfect front to escape from the capital to the town of El Paso, near to the Colombian coasts. At first Mariale disagrees, but she will have to face the decision to love a man who openly confesses that his heart can contain love for her and others, including Isabel Cristina, Marcela, Perrys - even if he is in hell. - and Bruna herself. Determined to help Pedro in his plans, she will be involved in the most risky adventures and will not only have to breathe the fear of each situation.

Henchman of El Capo. From the first moment he has shown his loyalty, integrity and courage to Pedro Pablo. He had a difficult childhood, with an abusive father who beat him unconscious and then locked him in a cramped, dark basement for long hours. This upbringing marks his character forever; Tato is capable of resisting the cruelest punishments and tortures; the only thing he has not been able to overcome: his terrible fear of confinement (claustrophobic).

El Capo's wife. She loves him deeply, she has known the boss since they were children and she is with him out of love. She is naive and the love she feels for her husband prevents her from seeing reality. However, she is a strong-willed woman, willing to face anything for her family. She is a woman from a humble class but with greater comforts than those that the Capo had in her childhood.

He is a hitman at the service of the men of Pacífico Blanco who operate in Colombia. Like Bruna, he decides to switch sides and loyally serve the Capo, for whom he has an admiration that borders on idolatry. He is Mariale's brother and Elvia's son. The nickname of Donkey, comes from his apparent lack of intelligence, although he knows how to write and solves things in life in a practical way or by shooting. Among other tasks, he will have to kidnap the father of the director of the national aeronautics, who, forced by this cause, will facilitate things so that El Capo can move freely in North American territory.
