Synopsis
"The Drama to Survive Inside and Outside the Kidnapping", the trip of the industrialist Gabriel Ávila to the Visitación farm on his birthday, in the company of his friend Jorge Mario Rubio, is the prelude to a trip to hell because, on the farm rice farm, guerrillas infiltrated as farm workers kidnapped them. Gabriel and Jorge Mario are deliberately taken to the Demilitarized Zone, demilitarized by the Government with the purpose of advancing peace talks with the guerrillas. In Bogotá, Gabriel's family begins a daunting task to bring back the kidnapped.
The immediate reaction is led by the intelligence captain Esteban Ávila, who, despite all his efforts, is unable to prevent the kidnapping of his brother because he cannot enter, under any pretext, the area prohibited by the Government. However, he is in favor of the rescue and does not admit the decision of Andrea, Gabriel's wife, to seek to pay the guerrillas for the release of her husband. The two positions completely polarize the family.
The efforts of some offend others and confront them with their convictions and their deepest fears. In the jungle, Gabriel and his friend are discovering that escape is practically impossible, they are in an area controlled by the guerrilla, in a region they don't know, they don't have a weapon, a phone, or even basic training to survive alone in Jungle. And as if this were not enough, they are watched 24 hours a day, and even to go to the bathroom they are watched by an armed guerrilla. They are ten hours from Bogotá but 100 years from civilization. A peasant guard of young people recruited in the fields is concentrated around the kidnapped, young people who have no other life option than armed employment and from whom the Samurai warrior emerges, a fierce jailer who will become the key to Gabriel's survival. , and also in the key to freedom.
