Synopsis
Because life is a matter of Physics – Chemistry. Francisco the mathematician is a series for television managed in seasons that takes place within the framework of a district school, where the work of parents and guides is shown, which on many occasions is assumed by teachers, who permanently fight to change a world in in which moral values are increasingly fragile. It is a product that has been maintained through the years, facing radical changes in history and characters.
Different actors with important careers have gone through the series such as Alejandra Borrero, Luis Mesa (Francisco), Ricardo Vélez, Diana Ángel, Andres Juan, Carolina Cuervo and Mauricio Figueroa, among others. The story revolves around the lives of the students of a district school where they forge their friendship, know love, ambition, share dreams and disappointments and create bonds that transcend school to life after graduation.
Dropping out of school, teenage pregnancy, youth gangs, strong contrasts between different social classes, marriages, graduations, entering the university, the world of work and the army, are some of the topics dealt with in the series. Through teacher-student relationships, the educator is shown as an integral being where he has to mix his professional life with the private life of both the students and his own.
Friendship is an important ingredient in the story that is recreated through all the characters in the series as well as in the three universes that are handled in it: the university with Gabriela and her new group of friends; the army where Fercho and Carlos reaffirm their friendship and in the school where new students face difficult situations of adaptation, but always in everything, friendship prevails. Juvenile alcoholism, sexual responsibilities at an early age, intrafamily violence, white slavery, the sale of drugs, problems between students and teachers, love and study are the themes of this production that has been very successful, both which has become a subject of study in most schools, both private and state.
