Synopsis
The criminal or family cases that are presented in the series are based on real life and advance simultaneously to a central love story between Julia Escallón and Pablo Domínguez, two lawyers who are experts in family law, whom chance unites when he just signed their divorce and she is about to get married.
Pablo Domínguez is one of the partners of the Firm Cabal-Ortega-Domínguez y asociados, within which he has the affection and admiration of his colleagues, however, he is suffering the consequences of a divorce and the possibility of not seeing his his stepchildren whom he raised as his own children. On her side, Julia Escallón, a young lawyer, is exultant, as she will marry Camilo Borrero, the man with whom she is deeply in love. However, everything changes radically for Julia when at the altar, seconds after saying yes, she sees how her boyfriend is arrested, and accused of the murder of the nudist at her bachelor party.
Julia and Pablo, lawyers for two clients in conflict over the custody of their son, meet again in court and thus begins a relationship between a man and a woman who are disenchanted with love, but limited by the possible departure of their Camilo's prison, Julia's boyfriend, when his innocence is proven. Parallel to this central story, the romantic and affective conflicts of the other lawyers of the firm advance, such as the charming womanizer Nicolás Ortega, the brilliant Alfredo Duperly, the correct Marcos Tibatá, the romantic Catalina Mejía, the feminist María del Pilar Garcés, the jealous Rosa Ferro, the suspicious Iván Estefan, the wise Hernando, the amusing Elías Rodríguez and other characters, who, paradoxically, seek love in an environment of separation and hatred.
