Synopsis
What is the difference between a murderous man and a murderous woman? That the woman does not stab once until she runs out of strength. He doesn't shoot, he empties the magazine. And for centuries she's spent confined to the kitchen, her favorite ingredient is poison.
Mujeres Asesinas is a series of unitary chapters based on the book by the Argentine journalist Marisa Grinstein. Her episodes tell true stories of women who have been murdered for various reasons and who have already been judged by justice or by fate. The women represented in this cycle have something in common: they expected a better life. Some were crazy. Others acted conscientiously. Invariably, things got complicated for all of them and they ended up in an asylum or jail.
Mujeres Asesinas presents an audiovisual format closer to the language of cinema than that of television. With a first-class cast, produced in High Definition and performed entirely in natural settings, the series touches the eyes of its viewers with an impeccable image and a realistic and moving staging. What makes an ordinary woman dare to end a life? The answer is simple: life itself.
