Extroverted, romantic, charming. Of strong character and peasant origin, she did not manage to finish high school, she preferred to leave school and work next to her mother as a coffee picker. Seagull has plenty of admirers, but she has never had one that attracts her attention enough to have something serious, although she dreams of a prince charming like the ones she sees on TV... And she finds him: Sebastian, the most loving man she has ever seen in her life, but also the most distant and impossible to love.

Charismatic, romantic, but also impulsive and stubborn. The second of five children of a wealthy family, the spoiled of his father. He finished high school out of the country, since then he stayed there working with the family business. He has been dating Lucía Sanclemente for five years, she wants to get married, he does not. When he meets Gaviota, he meets the love of his life, she brings him back to the land, to his roots and he goes crazy with love for her.

Pretty, elegant, classy, an economist, she knows four languages. The only daughter, from a wealthy family that has been diminished by the bad deals of her father, her great love. Her mother died only a couple of years ago and since then her father has been "turning off" in the midst of drinking and loneliness. Lucía dreams of marrying Sebastián and she takes it for granted, but he is not encouraged, which causes him terrible discomfort.

A nature-loving agronomist who finally sees the possibility of realizing his old dream: a sustainable productive project. He is willing to make coffee the axis of this idea and it is here where he meets the one who will be the love of his life, Gaviota. Leonidas Salinas is a citizen of the world, cheerful, fun and with a great social conscience. Salinas and Gaviota have a joint project, inspired by Gaviota's dream, to set up a women's cooperative to produce specialty coffee.

Gaviota's mother. Pretty, simple, hard-working and kind-hearted. Her great love, Gaviota's father, left her as soon as he found out she was pregnant, so she is afraid that her daughter will repeat the same story with Sebastián. Whenever she arrives to a place she decorates it and organizes it in an exemplary way. There were rumors that there was a romance between Carmenza and Octavio, since Octavio undoubtedly admired her for being a strong, hardworking woman, proud of being a peasant.

She is an upper class woman with rigid principles. She went from being the spoiled child of her family to marrying Octavio Vallejo, who always thought of her as a princess.  Although deep down she has a good heart, the fact that she has practically lived in a crystal urn distances her from reality, she is classist and arrogant. It is a great shock for Julia to discover that Sebastián has fallen in love with Gaviota, a peasant woman whom she considers is not the woman for her son.

Insecure, womanizer, macho, obsessive with sex. He is cunning, creative and shrewd to achieve everything he sets his mind to. In this process he also becomes a cold, calculating, narcissistic and egocentric man, who shows his power by calling attention all the time, advised by Marcia, his lover, with whom he has been with Lucrecia for as long as he has been with her. Ivan does not mind going over anyone's head, even his own family's, to get what he wants.

Beautiful, elegant, classy, she studied interior design. She has always been a modern woman, who, although rich, wants to fulfill herself professionally before having children. Although she loves Ivan deeply, she hides from him that she takes contraceptives to avoid getting pregnant. In spite of everything, she dreams of a marriage where everything works as she believes it should; a faithful, hard-working husband and a good father. But Ivan is the opposite and she has always been deceived.
