42 years. It is the mother of Niña. Rodrigo's widow. She expects Jeremias to die son so as to inherit more money tan the amount she should receive from her deceased husband. She is involved with Anibal Conrrado, her son-in law to be. Both of them have the same aim: to keep the navy Company and the Cabrales fortune. She is not very talkative and loves to ooze venom around.

56 years old, Grandmother of Niña. Because of her diabetes, she is confined to bed. She judges people according to their family names, whitout even knowing them. She is manipulative and bossy, her Word is a command. She is witty enough to tell when she is being cheated or when she is not told the truth. . She is an authentic coastal matriarch to whom you have to give permission and consult her for everything. She does not get along with Malvina, her daugther in law.

65 years old. He is the father of Rosalía, Asunción and Rodrigo, the eldest, who died in a boat accident, leaving his daughter Niña, who for Jeremías is the light of his eyes. He does not believe in omens, nor in witches; he goes to mass on Sundays at home, because his wife Úrsula cannot move from her bed due to her advanced diabetes. He is not elitist and is recognized in the Caribbean as a bastion of progress on the coast.

23 years old. She was born into one of the wealthiest families on the coast of the country. She is a cheerful, kind, simple young woman, with a smile on her face and a great social sensitivity; there is nothing that affects her more than an injustice, so she will be seen many times as a Joan of Arc asserting the rights of the underprivileged, although that does not look good in a girl of her class. Although she has a boyfriend and thinks she is in love, until she meets Chepe she will not know what real love is.

25 years of humble origin but whit high school studies, a degree he was able to get with blood, sweet and tears since he has worked as a fisherman since his early year. He was born with the gift of interpreting dreams. He's intelligent, practical, romantic and daydreamer, an optimistic and righteous young man. Even though he abides by the law, his hate for injustice has turned him into the community leader of Tiburon, the neighborhood where he lives.
